eC-Card app for young people to collect free condoms
Monday 3rd March 2025
Wiltshire council is currently rolling out a new eC-Card app, offering free condoms to Wiltshire young people aged 13-24.
We’re asking more schools to sign-up to become eC-Card providers. This means:
- Young people who are students at your school being able to access free condoms
- Service is totally confidential for young people, and not onerous to operate as a provider
- Access to free condoms promotes a culture of young people taking responsibility for their sexual health and sexual relationships
- Help to address health inequalities and improve health outcomes for our population
- Support from the council, including free sexual health and e-C-Card app training, including information on STI’s, contraception, consent and resources for wider sign-posting
- All condoms are bought and packed by the Public Health team, and then sent to participating venues free of charge
If you are interested in becoming an eC-Card provider, please get in touch at this address noworries.nhswiltshire@nhs.net.
