Children's Mental Health Week 2025
Thursday 23rd January 2025
Children’s Mental Health Week 2025 is just around the corner, taking place from 3-9 February. We’d love you to get involved to mark this important week. Here are several ways you and your school can support children’s mental health in Wiltshire:
1. Join the national ‘Know Yourself, Grow Yourself’ Campaign
- Learn more about the campaign from Place2Be, supported by The Walt Disney Company and the Inside Out characters: Place2Be's Children's Mental Health Week - Official site
- Download free digital resources and activities for Children's Mental Health Week. These include a variety of materials for families and schools, as well as social media tips, advice, and posts.
- Don’t forget to reshare the campaign’s social media posts and use the hashtag #ChildrensMentalHealthWeek when posting what you did to mark the week.
2. Collect Your Free Five to Thrive Resource
- We’ve developed a fantastic new credit card-sized resource with prompts and key messages for using Five to Thrive. It’s easy to carry with you in your day-to-day work.
- If you’ve completed the Five to Thrive training, you can collect your resource from your local Family Hub starting 3rd February.
3. Use the Reading Well Booklists
- You may like to use and support the 5 Reading Well schemes, which include 2 for school aged children and are supported by Wiltshire library service.
