County Lines Awareness Week - 17th-23rd May
Thursday 13th May 2021
Wiltshire Police have produced the following range of campaign resources for schools, including communications for parents that can be sent during the week as part of this national campaign.
Dear Head Teachers,
Please find attached a County Lines Parents and Carers leaflet, which we would like for you to send out with the following email. We appreciate this is an incredibly busy and uncertain time for schools and settings, however we feel raising awareness around County Lines is invaluable.
For National reporting purposes, please could you confirm this has been shared by emailing youth@wiltshire.police.uk – thank you.
We really appreciate your support in sharing this and educating the school community of this issue.
Dear Parents and Carers,
Wiltshire Police are committed to reducing harm and preventing crime in our communities. This week, we’re focussing on educating parents and pupils on County Lines and the associated exploitation. Please take a minute to read the attached leaflet, which will explain what County Lines is, the signs to look for, advice and further help.
By understanding the issue and being aware of the signs, we can proactively work together to safeguard our young people.
