Free Drug and Alcohol Training for 2024

The courses below are mainly aimed at and attended by Wiltshire secondary school staff, although primary schools may attend if they wish.
The courses can support general drug awareness for staff, the planning of drug education as part of PSHE, and the management of drug related incidents at school.
Connect is a drug and alcohol support service funded by Wiltshire Council.
Developing Health & Independence (DHI) are one of the delivery partners and run free, interactive, online training courses for professionals working with young people.
Courses include
- Alcohol Awareness (Young People)
- Parental Substance Misuse
- Drug Awareness (Young People)
These courses are particularly suitable for education, health and social care staff, the police, charity workers, foster carers, sports coaches and volunteers. Electronic certificates can be provided post-attendance. All courses begin at 10.00am.
