Free mental health assemblies and staff training for secondary research support
Friday 4th November 2016
The Charlie Waller Institute at the University of Reading are carrying out research to investigate what secondary teachers would find most useful to support them to teach about and manage mental health in their schools.
More information can be found in this leaflet.
The study is one 2 hour focus group with around 4-8 teachers in your school. In return for your invaluable help we can offer free mental health assemblies as well as mental health training for your staff (on behalf of the Charlie Waller Memorial Trust).
This can be a valuable opportunity to have you and your staff’s views heard around mental health. We hope that this will form the basis of an important step in the future of mental health in schools.
Thank you for your time, and we look forward to your response. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact Lucas at L.Shelemy@pgr.reading.ac.uk mobile: 07939996612.
Wiltshire Council are working with the Charlie Waller Memorial Trust to develop a school Mental Health Network in Wiltshire.
