PSHEE Governor training

A Governor's Guide to Relationship and Sex Education and Drug Education
Thursday 10th July in Devizes and Wednesday 5th November in Chippenham.
This one day course is for Wiltshire governors who have a responsibility for PSHE Education/ Health and Wellbeing/ Healthy Schools.
This course will:
- Clarify and extend knowledge of the content and approaches that are appropriate for RSE and drug education within the PSHE Education Programme.
- Raise understanding of the expectations of Ofsted for this curriculum area (including SMSC).
- Develop understanding of the governor's role in shaping and communicating school policy in this area.
- Be equipped to act as advocates for the management, planning and delivery of these sensitive aspects of the PSHEE curriculum.
Places for this course can be booked through Wiltshire Governor Services and are free for subscribing schools.
