Publication of Wiltshire’s Children and Young People’s Emotional Wellbeing Survey Report

Monday 6th January 2025

I’m pleased to inform you of the publication of Wiltshire’s Children and Young People’s Emotional Wellbeing Survey Report.

Over 9,000 school-aged children and young people completed the survey in Spring 2024 and the findings provide the foundations of a powerful narrative around young people’s emotional wellbeing in Wiltshire.   You may be aware of past Health and Wellbeing Survey Reports which covered a wider range of topics, including emotional health and there are plans to continue these in the future. In the meantime, it was decided to trial a shorter survey focussed on emotional wellbeing recognising the impact it has on all aspects of a child’s life including their physical wellbeing, relationships, and educational attainment.

(updated 13th January)

The report is being shared with key children and young people's partners (commissioners and providers) across the LA, ICB, Police and voluntary sector, but please feel free to share with your networks as well.
