She Can Be Active Network Forum - in Chippenham

Friday 27th September 2024

On Wednesday 2nd October there is a She Can Be Active Network Forum which is open for all activity providers, sports clubs, community groups and organisations who would like to support more women and girls to be active.

The main purpose of the network is to:

  • Facilitate discussion around the barriers & opportunities faced by women in Wiltshire related to physical activity & health
  • Create links between physical activity & health providers, & local women Share local opportunities to be active for women & girls
  • Create local She Can Be Active Networks where women feel safe to share their experiences of physical activity and be active together
  • Share learning, insight, and personal stories from across the network to encourage a collective approach to behaviour change among women
  • Provide support towards achieving the Active Practice Charter for GPs.
