Suicide Prevention Training 9th September 2024

As part of events to mark World Suicide Prevention Day 2024 Papyrus are offering a FREE TRAINING WORKSHOP for professionals working with children and young people in Swindon and Wiltshire.
This has been created in collaboration of a range of Swindon charities therefore much of the information will be Swindon focused, however some of the charities work across Swindon and Wiltshire, and there will be some information that crosses both.
The Suicide Prevention Workshop will take place on Monday 9th September, 1-3pm via MS Teams.
This workshop will include training about
- suicide prevention (from Papyrus, Prevention of Young Suicide)
- interventions for children & young people (from IPSUM)
- supporting children and young people who are bereaved by suicide (from Wiltshire Treehouse)
This is a great opportunity to learn more about how to safeguard the children/young people you work with, and to find out about the local services available to support them.
