The Link Programme in Wiltshire
Thursday 14th October 2021
I am pleased to inform you that Wiltshire Council are participating in the Link Programme in the autumn term of 2021.
The programme is delivered by the Anna Freud Centre, funded by the Department for Education, and will bring together local leaders in education and mental health to identify the support required by children and young people in our area. You can find out more about the national programme here:www.annafreud.org/linkprogramme.
As part of the programme the Anna Freud Centre will provide schools and colleges in Wiltshire with access to online modules exploring mental health support for children and young people. The online modules will include information regarding:
- The Mental health challenge in the UK
- Children and young people’s mental health
- The impact of unexpected change
- Resources and signposting
Please note that this information has not been localized, so there may be details about how some initiatives are being delivered locally in Wiltshire, which will not be mentioned but may be found on the Wiltshire Healthy Schools website and others.
