Wiltshire Children and Young People's Health and Wellbeing Survey: Overview report.

Thursday 17th February 2022

We are pleased to share the Wiltshire Children and Young People’s Health and Wellbeing Survey 2020 and 2021: Overview Report.

This report highlights initial headline findings related to a wide range of topics including emotional wellbeing, healthy lifestyles, risky behaviours, community safety and school engagement.  It is available for schools here on the Wiltshire Healthy Schools website and, for a wider audience, on the Wiltshire Intelligence Network.

More detailed theme-based reports will be published in the coming months and a series of webinars will be organised in the Spring to provide opportunities for schools and other agencies to come together and discuss how to respond to the findings and improve the health and wellbeing of children and young people in Wiltshire.

A series of free webinars will be published soon, starting with sessions for participating schools that have already received a summary of their school level data. A list of schools that took part during 2020 and 2021 can be found at the end of the Overview report.

The data, provided at school and county level, will not only provide useful evidence for Ofsted but enable schools to more effectively develop their PSHE education curriculum and effectively target and monitor their Healthy Schools work.
